What sets us apart

The hybrid profile. In this field, it's common to find data scientists and engineers who understand the technical side, or consultants who understand the business. The gap and the communication between those two worlds is where most projects get lost.

01
Business

Eleven years in corporate finance, analysing companies from the perspective of someone who decides whether a project gets funded. That work demands understanding the complete business model, not just one part. Added to that is consulting experience, which is where you learn to enter an unfamiliar operation and understand it quickly — the foundation for working alongside a client without having to translate every sentence twice.

02
Technical

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification and years building models and systems that run in production, with all the demands that entails: they must work every week, be maintainable, and survive when the business changes. That work allows recognising which tool solves each problem, and when the newest one is not the best.

03
Learning

What is today the best way to solve something, in a short span of time ceases to be, and in this field that window keeps narrowing. Staying current is part of the work, and it is what allows us to evolve continuously.

Small and focused on quality

We are a small, experienced team, and that is not a starting point until we grow. It is the way of working we have chosen, and it has concrete consequences for whoever hires us: personalised work, flexibility, and no overhead costs that eventually show up in what you pay.

You always talk to whoever builds.

The person who takes the first call is the one who understands the problem, develops it, and answers for it. No salespeople, no account managers, no layer between whoever listens and whoever builds.

Nothing ships without senior review.

Whoever executes each part, everything that is delivered passes through someone with enough judgement to say it is right. That is the commitment that ensures how the team is structured is not your problem.

Quality does not depend on who is available that day.

A team changes, and promising no one will ever move would be a lie. What is sustained is the level of what you receive, and the judgement with which it is reviewed, from the first delivery to the last.

What we don't do

There are projects we prefer not to take on. When what is needed lies outside our territory, or when the available data is not enough for what is wanted, we say so. It is a more uncomfortable conversation, but it saves you time and money.
